Dear Camden Families,

Thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time. It was our intention to provide information earlier as we were hopeful that all schools would have power by now. Unfortunately, that is not the case. With the exception of St. Marys Elementary School, all schools will reopen on Tuesday, October 1st. St. Marys Elementary School remains without power. The majority of our county now has power and will return to normal operations tomorrow. We understand that there are families still experiencing hardship due to power outages. We expect everyone to do what’s best for their family. Students and staff impacted will be given flexibility to prioritize what’s most important to them during this time.

Utility companies are working diligently to restore power at St. Marys Elementary School. We anticipate being able to welcome back students and staff at St. Marys Elementary on Wednesday, October 2nd. St. Marys Elementary staff will receive an email from Principal Cobb this evening outlining next steps.
